Thank you for your interest in becoming an approved carrier for TMC Logistics. Below are some of the key requirements we ask for your company to meet to qualify for full approval. All items noted below are required and must be submitted before the final approval process can be completed and your organization is made available to move shipments with TMC Logistics. If your company does not fully meet all of the criteria outlined below to complete the approval process, you may return at another time to register once the needed qualification items(s) are corrected.

To become an Approved Carrier for TMC Logistics, all carriers must meet the following criteria and items:

  • The Carrier Contact that is entering the information into the registration system moving forward must be authorized to fully fill out all the information needed and bind your company to the Transportation Agreement with TMC Logistics
  • Operating Authority meeting the following
    • Active MC/MX# or DOT#
      • Intrastate carriers without a DOT# may provide an applicable state registration number to begin registration
    • Carrier must have a Safety Rating noted as Satisfactory or Not Rated by the DOT
    • Carrier must be in business at a minimum of 3 months (verifiable references required)
      • All carriers with less than 6 months of noted service will be individually reviewed by TMC Logistics for final approval
  • Submit an electronic W-9 Form for tax purposes
  • Proof of active insurance that includes:
    • Minimum of $100,000 in Cargo Coverage
    • Minimum Combined Single Limit: $1,000,000 in Auto Liability
    • Minimum Each Occurrence: $1,000,000 in Commercial General Liability
    • If your insurance is not already on file, RMIS will request one from your insurance producer (agent)
  • Completed electronic Transportation Agreement
  • Completed Carrier Profile to assist TMC Logistics in understating your operational capabilities
